1.1.2. INDIVIDUAL WORK

1)  FOCUS ON VOCABULARY: Arrange the words on the scales according to the degree of quality.  Insert the preposition with or in and correct the mistakes, if any, in the sentences.

2)  FOCUS ON SPEAKING: Use active vocabulary to describe the appearance of your friends / groupmates. In the same way, describe somebody very famous, e.g. a writer, a pop star, a politician, scientist and see if someone else can guess who you are describing;

3) LISTENING. Listen to the recording «Describing People: Appearance. Likes and Dislikes».

A) Listen to the description of the people and fill in the chart. Do PRE-LISTENING, LISTENING and COMPREHENSION TASKS. FOCUS ON LISTENING.
