1.3.4_1.  Higher Education in the USA.

1) Study the vocabulary for the topic «Higher Education in the USA» and do FOCUS ON VOCABULARY and FOCUS ON READING

1.3.4_2.  Construction "There is/are".

1) Study the using of the construction "there is/are".

2) Do exercise 1-5 in writing.

1.3.4_3.  Intonation of Statements.

1) Stress and Intonation: Highlighting a word. Listen to one of the questions from the dialogue said with five different meanings because each time a different word is given this strong stress.

2) Repeater the questions after the announcer.

3) Word Stress, adjective endings. Underline the stressed syllable in the multi-syllable adjectives.

4) Listen and check.
