Задание для студентов I курса физико-математического факультета по дисциплине «Иностранный язык (английский)»

1. Ernst Chladni. Chladni's Plate.
- Do FOCUS ON VOCABULARY: Exercise 1, 2.
- Do FOCUS ON VOCABULARY online – Task 3.
- Read the text «Ernst Florens Friedrich Chladni», write down new words in your vocabulary list and pick out information: a) of primary importance; b) new to you. Do the Focus on Reading (II-IV)
- Do the Task: Lecture Tours. Read the text «Lecture tours», choose the right word. Be ready to retell the text.
- Do the TASK: Ernst Chladni.
2. Sequence of Simple Tenses.
- Study the following rules of Sequence of Tenses and do exercises 1-2.

- Read the text «Developmental Milestones», write down new words in your vocabulary list and pick out information: a) of primary importance; b) new to you. Do Focus on Reading (exercises II-IV).
- Do the online task.
- Get acquainted with the list of developmental characteristics and interests of school-age children (for ages five years to fourteen years old). Are there any characteristics you would like to add to this list?
- Think over the tips and recommendations you as a teacher can give to the parents at each period of the child's development. Fill in the table Tips and Recommendations for Parents.
- Do Check Yourself: Teenagers – Adolescent Development.
2. Reporting Verbs.
- Study the rules on Reporting Verbs and do exercises I-III.
