1) Do FOCUS ON READING: Read the text “Holidays in the USA”, write down new words in your vocabulary list and pick out information: a) of primary importance; b) new to you.

2) Do Reading Comprehension:  (exercises I-III).

3) THE INTERACTIVE TASK: Arrange holidays of the USA in the correct chronological order. Printscreen your quiz result and post it to the Viber chat.

4) Do FOCUS ON WATCHING.

2. Past Tenses: Revision.

1. Choose the right tense form: Past Continuous or Past Perfect.
2. Complete the sentences with the correct forms of the words in parentheses. Use Present Perfect, Past Continuous, Past Perfect.

3. Intonation in Special Questions.

• Listen to the dialogue, practice the pronunciation of wh-questions and question words.

1) Focus on Reading: Read the text about Columbus Day, write down new words in your vocabulary list and pick out information: a) of primary importance; b) new to you.

2) Do READING COMPREHENSION: exercises I, II.

3) READING COMPREHENSION CHECK: Read the text “The seven natural wonders of America” and do READING COMPREHENSION CHECK. Upload it for teachers to grade and give feedback on.

4) Do the TASK “A trip to the USA”:  Match the pictures with the places. Printscreen your quiz result and post it to the Viber chat.

5) Do the TASK “USA facts”. Read some interesting facts about USA and drag the proper names into the right place.

6) Do FOCUS ON GRAMMAR: Do the online tasks.
