I come from a fairly close-knit family, although we don’t always have good relationships. I’m very close to my granny, especially as we have a lot in common, but I’ve recently quarrelled with my grandfather.
Their son is my father. He is quite old-fashioned, and we often have completely different views on many things. I know, I should respect and admire him, but the fact is I don’t do it. My father very often speaks severely to me, especially when I try to do what I want.
As for my mother, I adore her. She is kind and caring. I know, it was difficult for her to raise me as she had to work a lot when I was a child. As a matter of fact, I often think about my childhood. I’m proud that I’m similar to my mother in character.
I’ve got two sisters, Helen and Ann. I should say that I’m very close to Helen. I can tell her all my secrets and she will keep them. I’m not so close with Ann. I have to tolerate her laziness. She is always trying to avoid helping our mother about the house and very often she succeeds in escaping punishment for this. Frankly speaking, I’m sick and tired of it. But in general I’m on friendly terms wit her.
